Our team at UTracks is passionate about adventure, travel and - of course - delivering exceptional service. And if there's one thing that binds us, it's both the personal and professional travel experience each of us bring to the company. Combined, we've travelled to virtually every corner of the world (many times) and bring a multidisciplined, multicultured and whole-hearted love of all things travel.
While based in Australia, UTracks has a global presence through World Expeditions, our worldwide agents. UTracks is a wholly owned division of World Expeditions who have offices in San Francisco in the US, Ottawa and Montreal in Canada, Auckland in New Zealand and London in the United Kingdom. Below, meet some of our team.
 

Adam Mussolum - Marketing Manager
Canadian born, Adam led treks and tours throughout the Rockies, Alaska and the high Arctic. He has been ski touring or trekking in Chamonix, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, America, Malaysia, Taiwan and most recently returned from a trek to Mt Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Adam has a year round love of the alpine, its people, cultures and mountains.

Kate Harper - Group Co-ordinator
Most recently Kate has trekked the Larapinta and Heysen Trails and explored Thailand with her young family. In a former life she has trekked throughout Nepal, Peru, Bolivia, Indonesia, Borneo, Iceland and Greenland. Kate’s cycled Vietnam and Cambodia and explored our own back yard – a highlight being rafting the mighty Franklin River!

Fiona Windon - Sales
Fiona has an impressive adventure portfolio with adventure experiences in many destinations including treks in the Himalaya, Egypt, Morocco, South East Asia, India, the Andes as well as a voyage in the Antarctic. Most recently she completed the Paine & Fitz Roy trek in Patagonia and paid homage at Mt Kailash in Tibet.
Julie Anderson - Himalaya Operations
Julie has trekked and climbed extensively in Bhutan, Nepal, India, Pakistan and has been coordinating our climbing trips in Pakistan, Nepal, Tibet and South America that are reflected in our Active Adventures brochure. 
Sue Badyari - CEO
Sue has been part of our team since 1986. Her love for adventure travel is reflected in what is now recognised as one of the worlds leading adventure travel programs. Sue’s enthusiasm for responsible travel has seen her forge fundraising initiatives for many Australian charities, while in 2005 she developed the companies' inaugural Community Project Travel program. When not desk bound she returns regularly to Asia, the Himalaya and South America. 
Kate Baker - Utracks General Manager
Kate spent three years in London establishing our UK office before returning to Sydney. Her adventure CV includes trekking in the Himalaya, the Andes, Europe, Africa and Patagonia, cycling in China & France, touring the Silk Road and cruises in both the Arctic and Antarctic. In 2005 Kate was instrumental in the development of our Journeys of Discovery and European programs. 
Chris Buykx - Domestic - General Manager
Chris manages our Australian operations from our Sydney office, although he spends much of his time in the bush, leading treks, exploring new destinations and working with the guides to make our trips better. Chris is an experienced guide and adventurer and has first hand experience of most of our African and Australian adventures
Philip Wyndham - Industry Marketing
Phil’s travels have taken him far and wide, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Canada, India, Vietnam, China and Thailand. He has a particular affinity for the Himalaya where he has trekked in Nepal and Sikkim, taught English in a school in Nepal and most recently returned from a trek in the Garwhal Region of India, near Nanda Devi.
Gordon Steer - Operations Manager
Gordon has a zeal for adventure that inspired him to travel and trek the world’s remote corners including cycling across Tibet, trekking the trails in Peru, Morocco, Ethiopia, Oman, Central America and the Tian Shan, as well as half a dozen treks in Nepal. The Polar regions of Antarctica and the Arctic have also been a favourite of Gordon’s. After more than seven years spent managing the UK office, Gordon now heads up our Operations area.
Sarah Higgins - Operations
Sarah's travels have taken her to Nepal, Syria, Jordon, Greece, Turkey and South Africa among others. She has worked in The Netherlands and the UK, picked avocados in Israel and worked aboard a ship on the high seas between Ireland and France. She has just returned from a trek in Ladakh and has a passion for adventure travel.

Lauren Boler - Sales
Lauren recently completed our Inca Rivers trek and has travelled through South East Asia, Egypt, Europe as well as living in Greece, France & Croatia. 
Bec Leorke - Reservations Manager
Bec has lived in Norway and the UK and travelled through Europe, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, India and South East Asia. Most recently she has trekked in Himalaya, cycled in Rajathan, and snorkeled in the Maldives. 
Janet Oldham - Utracks Reservations Consultant
Janet has spent many years as a guide in Africa before deciding to share her experiences with our travellers. Janet's passion for bushwalking and adventures in Australia has taken her to many of the destinations features in our Australian Walking Holidays brochure, including Tasmania, Larapinta end to end and the Bibbulmun Track. Janet has also trekked to Gokyo Lakes in Nepal’s Everest Region and just returned from Europe.
Carlie Ballard - Reservations
Carlie has travelled extensively through Western Europe and the USA. She has lived and worked in the UK and also in Tuscany, Italy. Carlie only just recently returned from another holiday in Italy where she also travelled to Sicily. She is also currently studying the language. Carlie has also travelled to Peru, Thailand and Jamaica.
Karena Noble - PR Manager
Karena is a corporate communicator with a true spirit of adventure. Having lived in Singapore and London as well as Sydney, Karena has travelled extensively throughout Asia and Europe. Karena is dedicated to spreading the word about the inspirational work that we do at World Expeditions.
Joanna Gurung - Inspired Adventures co-ordinator
Joanna works part time in sales and as a charity challenge co-ordinator. She has lived in Sydney, London and Kathmandu. She has travelled to Europe, Africa, NZ, Nepal and India. Most recent treks were Tanzania on Foot 2008 and the Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lakes in May 2009.Liz Rogan - Advertising and Publications Manager
Liz is a passionate traveler who has explored the world extensively; she traveled South East Asia for three months before moving to London for two years, during that time, she traveled Europe & Northern Africa, and then moved to Tokyo to live and teach English for six months, after this she travelled through China, Tibet, Nepal (Everest and Annapurna treks ) South America, & the USA. In Australia Liz has trekked Tasmania's Overland Track, the Larapinta Trail and explored Kakadu.
Agnes Sanele - Office Manager
Agnes began working with World Expeditions as the Receptionist three years ago and worked her way to Office Manager. Agnes’s travels have taken her to New Zealand, Fiji, and back home to Samoa numerous times. Agnes plans to explore Nepal and China in the new year. 
Mai Giang - Domestic Sales
Mai’s adventure travel highlights include ice climbing and glacial trekking in Iceland, Annapurna circuit in Nepal, Mt Fuji in Japan, Mt Kinabalu in Sabah, Larapinta trail in Aus, Sections of the GR20 in Corsica and ridge scrambling in Wales. Besides trekking, She has lived in the UK and enjoyed immersing the cultures of Europe, Egypt, Morocco, India and most of Asia.

Katherine Williams - Reservations
Katherine has a passion for history and has a degree in Ancient History and is completing a Masters in Egyptology and Archaeology. As part of her studies she has travelled to Egypt on several occasions to work on archaeological digs. Katherine has also travelled to the USA, UK, Nepal, UAE and throughout Europe. Her last trip was WE’s Tanzania on Foot which took her on safari and then to Mt Kilimanjaro.

Marta Ticha - Reservations
Marta has been working in adventure travel since moving to Sydney in 1995, from her birthplace Prague in The Czech Republic. Marta has travelled extensively through Europe, South East Asia, The Pacific Islands and recently completed World Expeditions Inca Trek. Her favourite part of travelling is experiencing local cultures, nature & meeting people .
Scott Pinnegar - National Sales Manager
Scott's infectious enthusiasm for adventure travel is obvious with journeys to remote regions like China's Yunnan and Sichuan provinces and Northern Cambodia. His extensive experience in the travel industry includes climbing Kilimanjaro, treks in South America and Nepal and many journeys through Vietnam and South East Asia. He has most recently returned from a trip to Antarctica, something he describes as a 'must do' for any adventure traveller.
Rachel Imber - Projects
Rachel has a diverse travel repertoire including escorting our Trans Siberian Naadam journey, treks to Nepal, South America, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and East Africa, together with a voyage to the Antarctic. Rachel also has a keen interest in our UTracks program having undertaken trips to France, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia and Spain.
Ben Ollington - IT Manager
Ben is our Information Technology ‘guru’ who has been responsible for the establishment of our website although he has regularly moved beyond virtual reality with adventures in Europe, Morocco, Nepal and a recent cruise in Antarctica.
Ian Williams - Victoria Schools Coordinator
Ian has often been referred to as a travel encyclopaedia. With over 30 years of adventure travelling to over 50 destinations to his credit, Ian is ideally suited to advising our private groups. Ian's on-going work with local people on philanthropic programs adds a vital dimension to the trips. 
Andrea Bearsley - Adventure Travel Specialist
Andrea has travelled throughout North & South America, Europe and South Africa and also lived and worked in Japan. She recently completed our Sherpa Everest trek in Nepal, and in her spare time, is regularly found undertaking other adventure pursuits including rock-climbing, mountain-biking and scuba diving.
Kylie Turner - Adventure Travel Consultant
Having travelled extensively through Europe, North, Central & South America, Indonesia, South East Asia & Japan, Kylie has definitely been bitten by the travel bug! She also lived in Scotland for 2 years before continuing the adventure with a ski season on the Canadian slopes. 
Valerie Waterston - Queensland Manager
Valerie Waterston has travelled around the world leading tours on 5 continents and always admired the World Expeditions groups and itineraries from afar. Now settled in Brisbane as the new Queensland manager for World Expeditions Valerie looks forward to sharing her passion and knowledge of our destinations with travellers seeking out their next adventure.
Amanda Fletcher - Adventure Sales Consultant
Amanda Fletcher has 12 years experience in the travel industry gathered working in Canada, Ireland, UK and Australia. With a strong passion for adventure travel she has spent time in between getting off the beaten track in Nepal, India, South America, Africa, NZ and Asia. Antarctica and Mongolia are now at the top of her list for future adventures.
Melody Wilson - Reservations
Melody's love of the Australian wilderness has seen her raft down the Franklin river, trek along the Larapinta trail, Bibbulmun Track and Cape to Cape in addition to her impressive list of overseas journeys which include Egypt, Nepal, South America and Africa. 
Tali Emdin - Manager
Tali has worked for many years in the Adventure Travel Industry gaining experience in Australia and overseas. Tali worked in our Sydney office as Reservations Manager before transferring to the Operations team and has now moved across the Tasman to manage our New Zealand office. Tali has travelled the length of the east coast of Africa, through Europe and the Middle East as well as overland across Central America. She has has trekked The Larapinta Trail in Central Australia which she says is an all time favourite and part of the Compostella Trail in Spain. Tali joined our Shpera Everest trek in Nepal and escorted one of our Trans Siberian Adventures. Tali loved South America and Antartica so much she is heading off to the Inca Trail later this year. 
Nadine Noël - Adventure Travel Consultant
Nadine has a passion for big mountains. After trekking in Nepal and climbing Kilimanjaro, she has now undertaken an ascent of the highest peaks of the Andes, Aconcagua in Argentina.
Véronique Pépin - Regional Manager
Native from France, Veronique went through France, Europe and North Africa. Then her taste for adventure brought her to the Middle East where she felt in love with this region forgotten by tourism. Explorer of nature, she left two years to go around the world to discover treasures of Asia, Oceania and of Latin America. Her passion for adenturous travels and her interest for cultures are contagious.
Nora Carisse - Adventure Travel Consultant
Her strong passion for travel emerged quite early with multiples trips in Central and Eastern Europe. After undergraduate studies in environment, her taste for responsible travel grew stronger and was carried through adventures in Asia. In addition to her interests in history and the variety of cultures, she is now fulfilled by the hard learning of mandarin.
Maude Gamache Bastille - Adventure Travel Consultant
It all began with a community project travel in Haiti. Then her passion for languages lead her to quit her homeland to settle in Europe. Always looking for new adventure, she traveled in Asia, from Kazakhstan to Singapore and her last escapade lead her to Central America.
Keri May - Adventure Travel Consultant
Adventure is Keri’s favorite word! Her travels have taken her on zip-lines through the forests of Costa Rica, camping across Australia and New Zealand, trekking to the rims of volcanoes, and scuba diving all over Southeast Asia. She’s more than happy to talk travel and help you plan the adventure of your dreams.Nathalie Gauthier - Canadian Manager
Nathalie's passion for adventure travel is injectious! Her travels have taken her to Africa, South East Asia, the Himalayas as well as South & Central America. Her depth of experience and wealth of travel knowledge is the driving force behind our French speaking program.
Caroline Mongrain - NA Marketing & PR
With a background in both graphic arts and the travel industry, Caroline decided to put both to work at World Expeditions. She’s organizing events, publicising, editing, translating our expeditions, putting our world into images, just for you!
Doug Lentz - Reservations Manager
Doug is an industry veteran, planning travel since 1986 and our in-house
airfare specialist. His focus is getting you to your chosen destination.
His travels have taken him to Australia, South East Asia, Africa, and
the Middle East.

Stéphanie Fradette - Charity Challenge Project Coordinator
Stephanie experience and love of adventure travel has taken her to the four corners of the world in the last decade including South East Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East and South & Central America. Stephanie will help travelers and charities wanting to experience a different kind of philanthropic travel by participating in our newest Charity Challenge program; HUMA Challenge.
Stéphanie Boutet - Adventure Travel Consultant
Stéphanie's love for travel & cultural immersion took her on a two year stay in Taiwan working & traveling. She has recently come back from 4 years of adventure, traveling throughout South East Asia, India, China & Australia. Always ready for a new adventure, her backpack & travel shoes sitting readily at her door, she will be more than happy to share her love for travel to prepare you for your next adventure.
Brad Atwal - UK Manager
Brad's travel portfolio includes riding camels in Mongolia, cycling in India, touring on our High Road to Lhasa, travelling the Karakoram Highway to Kashgar and trekking on China's Great Wall and Vietnam's Fansipan, as well as rafting the Franklin River in Australia and trekking along the Larapinta Trail. He has also travelled to the Arctic to take part in our Circumnavigation of Spitsbergen trip and more recently trekked in the Khumbu region to take part in our Everest 55th Anniversary celebrations. Brad has a strong knowledge of World Expeditions, having worked in the Australia, San Franciso and London offices over the last decade.

Nicola Croom - Sales Manager
Nicola lives and breathes adventure. Having travelled around the world for 2 and half years Nicola has exceptional experience and enthusiasm for our style of travel. She is ideally set to chat with you on the phone or by email about all aspects of your travel plans. Her extensive travel adventures have taken her throughout Asia, Africa, Western and Eastern Europe, Australasia and to the Arctic and Antarctic. Nicola is well placed to answer any of your Polar travel questions.
Neill Prothero - Sales
Neill has an impressive adventure CV: from white-water rafting in New Zealand to safari in East Africa; camel back in Northern India to cruising in the Galapagos to name but a few. Neill rates trekking as the best ways to see a country, and has walked in many remote and wonderful destinations including Ethiopia, Madagascar and Jordan. Neill recently took part on our Mt Blanc ascent and escorted one of our school groups to Egypt's Sinai region. When not inspiring others about our treks Neill can be found in a curry house on Tooting Broadway.
Paul Edmunds - Groups Department
Paul is a qualified teacher and outdoor education instructor. He works in our Groups Dept, specialising in school group travel. His travelling has taken him to all four corners of the globe and extensively through India and Morocco, as well as the European Alps. He has led groups to Peru, India, Pakistan, Siberia, Egypt and Morocco. He likes living in London because he can find most of the Worlds cuisine and he is never too far away from an airport.
Gesine Cheung - Groups Co-ordinator
Gesine, or 'Gus', has an extensive adventure travel history. Her previous life in the banking industry combined with her global travel experience ensures that our charity and school groups are provided with exceptional service and advice. Gus’ travels have taken her to Nepal, Bhutan, the Maldives, throughout Asia, Central & South America, southern Africa, to the top of Toubkal in Morocco and the Middle East. Gus has led our Trans Siberian journey as well as our Tashkent to Isfahan adventure touring itinerary and more recently climbed to the roof of Africa before relaxing on the beaches of Zanzibar.
Matt Brazier - Adventure Travel Consultant
Matt got the travelling bug at the age of 19 on his first gap year taking in South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. He got the taste for trekking whilst at University when he trekked the Great Wall of China for charity. Not content with just one Gap Year, his second involved taking part on one of our most popular trips as a client; Everest Circuit, trekking around the beautiful Everest and Gokyo Valleys, which he regards as his favourite experience. He loves Asia and has travelled numerous times around India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and China. When not in the office Matt wishes he was sipping a Beer Lao on the side of the Mekong.
